This app provides AI-generated market intelligence for educational purposes. It is not investment, legal, or tax advice. Nothing here is a recommendation to buy or sell any asset. Always do your own research and consult a licensed professional before acting on any information.
Data we collect
- Account: email, authentication identifiers
- Profile: display name, country, phone (optional), currency, language
- Lead requests (only if you choose to request a callback): name, email, phone (optional), country, portfolio range, interests
- Technical: IP address, user-agent, device platform & version, push token (if notifications enabled)
- Quiz answers and basic usage analytics
- Marketing attribution: the campaign or link that brought you to us

Legal bases (EU/UK users)
- Contract — creating and running your account and delivering the service you asked for.
- Legitimate interests — keeping the service secure, preventing abuse, and improving the product.
- Consent — push notifications, marketing messages, non-essential measurement, and sharing your details with a partner. You can withdraw consent at any time.
- Legal obligation — where we must retain or disclose data by law.
Third parties we work with
- Licensed financial partners — only when you explicitly request a callback and tick the consent box. We may receive compensation for such introductions.
- Cloud infrastructure providers — hosting, authentication, database and storage services.
- AI model providers — process content to generate market analysis and educational material.
- Analytics, push notification and email providers — deliver messages and measure product usage.
These providers act as processors on our behalf under contract and may only use the data to provide their service to us. We do not sell your personal data.
Cookies & similar technologies
We use essential local storage and cookies to keep you signed in and remember your preferences — these are required for the service to work. We also use advertising and measurement technologies (such as advertising platform pixels and conversion measurement) to understand which campaigns bring people to Maexo. Where identifiers are shared with advertising platforms for measurement, contact details are hashed before transmission. You can block or clear cookies in your browser, reset your device advertising identifier, or email us to object to non-essential measurement.
International transfers
Our providers may process data outside your country, including outside the EEA and the UK. Where that happens we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as European Commission adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses.
Broker sharing
After signing up we may show you an optional, one-time offer: a free introduction call with a licensed, regulated broker. If you agree, we share your name, email, phone and country with the broker so they can arrange the call. You can decline the offer and your data will not be shared. We may receive compensation from the broker for this introduction.
Automated processing
AI models generate market summaries and educational analysis from public information. This content is general and identical for all users of a given page — it is not profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects for you, and no automated decision is made about you personally.
Retention
Account and profile data is kept while your account is active and deleted after you close it, subject to any legal retention we must apply. Lead information is kept for up to 24 months from your last contact with a partner, then deleted or scrubbed of personal identifiers. Technical logs and analytics are kept for a short period for security and product measurement.
Your rights & controls
You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your data, to object to processing based on legitimate interests or direct marketing, and to withdraw consent at any time. EU/UK users may also lodge a complaint with their local data protection authority. In the app you can:
Children
Maexo is intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a minor has given us data, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
All traffic is encrypted in transit. Access to your data is restricted by access controls and role-based restrictions, and limited to staff who need it. If a breach affects your data, we will notify you and the relevant authority where the law requires it. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password.
Delete your account or data
You can delete your account anytime from
Profile → Delete account, or follow the steps on our
account deletion page. The data we collect in the mobile app matches the data safety declaration shown on its app store listing.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the service evolves. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date below.
